About
My name is John Dunning and I live in the Southampton area of the U.K.. I am married with two children, and am a Christian whose greatest desire is to surrender every part of my life totally unto Jesus Christ for His glory. I attend the Calvary Chapel fellowship in Southampton, and have made available some of the excellent teaching and preaching expounded there, through this blog. However if you would like to know more about the fellowship, or if you would like to listen to a more wide ranging cross section of their teaching, you can visit the church website at: http://www.calvarychapelsouthampton.co.uk/
HeartCry is my own personal blog, but I am also co-founder of a larger website ministry called Faith Defenders, which became established in 2008. If you enjoy any of the posts and articles here at HeartCry, I suggest you drop by Faith Defenders, where you will find a number of other Christians making excellent contributions via their own personal blogs also, and drawn together under one roof. Also there is a vibrant community forum should you wish to join in with us, however it must be pointed out that registration is by email request only for peace of mind to our existing members. The website can be found at: http://faith-defenders.com
For many years I have been frustrated with the luke warm attitude within the church, and more so lately, I have become increasingly aware how many, many Christians seem to be allowing the truth of Scripture to be compromised in almost every area of their faith. This is one of the main reasons I have continued in the online ministries I have, in order that I can add my own cry, and encourage others along with me, to call Christians everywhere to repent and turn back to the Lord, and the Truth of His Word.
Through this blog I have tried to offer a range of information and resources to those sincerely in the faith. You will find stuff that I have written myself, embedded videos and audio that may be of interest, and also a range of site feeds given at other websites and blogs I visit regularly.
Please feel free to add any of your comments to existing posts, or also leave a message on my blog wall. Initial comments are set to be moderated, but once a comment is accepted, moderation will be removed for future comments.
Blessings in Christ,
John Dunning.
